See, metro Detroit is protected from lake effect weather, as the prevailing winds are from the east, and the lakes closest to us are on the west.

You and Garvin should move here. We have better weather, and it's like Cleveland, only with more stabbings!

Let's not leave out Tuesday's tornadoes...Wednesday's 65 degree temperatures...and then Thursday morning's covering of snow!

Northeast Ohio may have a bit of a cultural scene...but the thing at which we really excel is having odd weather...
